"Wonderfully comfortable stay at this small but immaculate B&B in Dorset. The welcome was warm, the cream tea on arrival was delicious. The breakfasts were quite simply something else - perfectly presented and tasty 'full English' with an array of fresh and stewed fruit to match any. The room was delightful and little touches helped make us feel spoilt - home-made chocolate truffles and biscuits, fresh grapes and the perfect tea tray with fresh milk and a china teapot. The house and its art and artefacts are beautiful and add to the sense that you are guests in someone's carefully cared for home: actually, you are!"

"Relaxing and luxurious stay at this small but perfectly formed B&B. The surroundings blend the historical and the modern with quiet and intriguing sophistication. The cream tea by a roaring log fire was a brilliant way to begin. There was attention to detail in every aspect - from home-made jams, marmalades and tomato sauce to the most wonderfully varied offer of fruits- fresh, poached and stewed - for breakfast. The decor, ambience and welcome were memorably great, the chocolate truffles and fresh grapes in the room were delightful"
